Vermilion First Assembly of God

Being the light to Vermilion to see the lost saved, and filling hearts with hope for tomorrow.

The 7 Churches
The book of Revelation contains more symbols than any other book in the Bible. It's filled with mystery and portrays things seen and unseen, things in the world and things of the world to come. It symbolically portrays angles, demons, and principalities in the heavenly's.

In this study we will be looking at the vision given to John on the isle of Patmos concerning the 7 churches. Why were these letters written? To whom were they written to? What is the meaning of these letters? Do these letters apply to the church today?

Come and join us for this exciting study. Classes will be held on Wednesday nights beginning May 6th -June 24th. Each session will begin at 6:30 pm and we will be meeting in the sanctuary. Led by Pastor Russ Nelson.

Find Your PEOPLE
In a world that's both more connected and isolating than ever before, we're often tempted to do life alone, whether because we're so busy or because relatioships feel risky and hard. But science confirms that consistent, meaningful connection with others has a powerful impact on our well-being. We are meant to live known and loved. But so many are hiding behind emotional walls that we're experiencing an epidemic of loneliness. You were created to play, engage, adventure, and explore-with others. In "Find Your People", you'll discover exactly how to dive into the deep end and experience the full wonder of comuinity.  Because while the ache of loneliness is real, it doesn't have to be your reality.
This Bible Study begins July 1, 2026. For questions, see Paige Pray or email her at 14nelsonp@gmail.com.
Vermilion First Assembly of God strives to be a place that connects people to God and each other. Equipping people with the word of God to reach those locally and globally.

We strive to put people before programs, so that people far from God will be raised to life in Christ. We aim to be a safe place for people to find and follow Jesus.

We believe in being challenged by the words of scripture, and that our life will be a reflection of Christ. We strive to follow Jesus’ words, teachings, and actions in our daily lives and be a people who are what we say we are and whose actions speak louder than words.

At vermilion First Assembly of God our mission is simple: To point people to Jesus.
